Before Ombengu, I was a guide and ran a big game hunting camp in Zambia for ten years. Having hunted lions and all the dangerous game with rifle as well as bow and arrow, I can assure you there is a big difference between the two methods.

Nothing is like bowhunting, and Ombengu offers some of the best ground hunting I have seen in Africa. The Oryx you see me with in the photo was taken at Ombengu by traditional hunting methods. That excursion was certainly one of my best hunting experiences.
